After years of trying to narrow in on the perfect sketchbook, I finally hit on one that ticks every box: made from high quality but unpretentious materials, durable, useful across media, and substantial in the hand to provide a sensation which only a hand-bound book can provide. Additionally, 84 pages of extremely thick, 300gsm watercolor paper by Fluid seems to be just enough to make sure I stick with the book long enough to fill it. It’s 7.75x5.5 dimensions make it the same proportion as a 6x9 published book, for later reproduction. Plus, it’s dense enough to be used as a weapon if needed.
